Equine sports massage is beneficial for all horses. -
- From the youngsters just learning how to use their bodies and interact with the world, to your equine athlete working hard to give you their best and even your older, retired and companion animals whose bodies just don't heal like they used to or have chronic pain. The modalities I use in equine sport therapy for your horse are massage, energy balancing techniques and acupressure. Disclaimer: I am not a veterinarian and cannot diagnose or treat illness. What I can do is improve your horses overall health by keeping their body in balance or bringing them back into balance through the modalities mentioned above. All my techniques are hands on so that I can feel areas of heat, swelling, soreness or tightness. It is my goal to help your horse achieve the best health possible. I will give your horse my best effort so they can give you theirs. Equine massage sessions cost $60 per session which last between 45min to 1 hour and a half depending on what the issues are and how many areas your horse will allow to be healed at the time of treatment. Owners tend to see or feel a beneficial change in their horse after a session. These changes are your horse being easier to ride, more willing in their training, more flexible and supple, a positive demeanor and relaxed disposition. Depending on the horse and severity of the issue it may take several sessions for a beneficial change to be noticed.
